Research Methods for Artists and Curators

This ONLINE four-week course is specifically designed for artists and curators.

The course will equip you with a variety of useful tools and methods—academic and artistic—for gathering ideas and information across all stages of a project.

Every Tuesday from 7-9pm GMT for four weeks from March 3, we will look at:

* note taking systems and citation (in both writing and practice)
* how to use different kinds of libraries, archives and online databases
* fieldwork and site access
* visual research and alternative research methods
* how to integrate research and practice
* navigating copyright law when using archival or found material

To take full advantage of the course, I recommend coming with current research project or a research idea in mind.

The cost for each four-week course is £180.

The course will run every Tuesday between 3 March and 24 March. Each session will be two hours from 7 – 9pm GMT.

*Both PWYC places are now taken* I’m offering two pay-what-you-can places, one for a BPOC artist and one for a disabled artist. First come. Please DM me if you’re interested.

Participants capped at 15.
